This will be your first step to turn diving into a career. The course offers professional training to divers, not only further improving your diving skills but also your leadership skills. Who is this for?
PADI® Rescue Diver, 18 years old or above, with Emergency First Responder, Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 12 months. You’ll need a minimum of 40 logged dives to begin and 60 logged dives to earn this certification.

- The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
- Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
- Diver safety and risk management
- Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
- Business of diving and your career
- Awareness of the dive environment
- Dive setup and management
- Mapping an open water site
- Conducting dive briefings
- Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
- Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
- Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs
How long will this take?
1 month – 1 year (progress is dependant on individual)

- Open water dives: Option of Tioman, Tenggol, Semporna
- Other islands available at different costs
